OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR (I year contract, opportunity to go permanent) £19,000 to £22,000 depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to work alongside the existing admin team at one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based inThame, Oxfordshire.

  • Previous experience of motor vehicles or working within the automotive industry would be a distinct advantage.
  • This role might also suit candidates who have a background in motor vehicles or the automotive industry and want to move into an office role.

The Office Administrator role will involve dealing with telephone and email enquiries from insurance companies and members of the general public regarding the collection and disposal of vehicles. The role will also involve registering auction bidders and chasing/processing payments and occasionally serving customers face-to-face at the counter.

The essential qualities required for the Office Administrator include:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • I.T. literate
  • Comfortable working in a busy office environment
  • Team Player
  • Previous experience of motor vehicles would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment. This role might also suit candidates who have a background in motor vehicles or the automotive industry and want to move into an office role.

The hours of work are- Monday to Thursday 8:00amto 5:30pm, Friday 8:00amto 4:45pm

The salary is £19,000 to £22,000 depending on experience.
