Job Description:

 This is a part time bookkeeping role with some administration as well. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and be able to use Sage or similar accounts package. Due to location transport will be required.

Bookkeeping:

Suppliers

  • Purchase order/invoice processing
  • Monitoring European supplier payments and statements
  • Setting up supplier accounts
  • Producing payment schedule lists
  • Reconcile purchase ledger balances to supplier statements

Customers

  • Sales order/invoice processing
  • Monthly statements
  • Credit control

General:

  • Monthly sales figures
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Banking to include all account transactions for:

Current account

Cheque register

Petty cash account

Credit card account

Paypal account

World 1st Euro transactions

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Monthly BACS run
  • Financial forecast
  • VAT Returns
  • Monitoring PAYE payments
  • Month end/year end
  • Monthly journals
  • Monthly pay role journals
  • Accruals/prepayment
  • Profit/loss management reports
  • Any other reports as required

Administration: (to be divided by all employees depending on workload)

  • HR Administration to include production of employment contracts
  • Holiday recording
  • Customer service/answering telephone/email enquiries and assisting in general administration
  • Scanning jobsheets to ACT
  • Stationary monitoring and ordering
  • Insurance renewals for all vehicles and Business/Public Liability Insurance

Stock Management:

  • Stock control
  • Short shelf life stock monitoring
