Job Title Accounts Administrator
Company Profile:
Job Description:

 Our client who is based just outside Thame is looking for an experienced administrator/bookkeeper, salary up to £25,000 to join their small team in a brand new role. You will be working in a busy office, where there are many new challenges and as its a small team a degree of flexibility will be required

The office is in a rural location own transport is helpful.

Essentially, the role will include all admin tasks relating to the day to day running of the UK Office. You will assist the Office Manager with a remit that covers management accounts, management of the rental operations and warehouse process.

The ideal accounts administrator will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of administration / office experience and any accounts experience will be helpful
  • Fully proficient in MS Office in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good organisational skills, a proactive attitude and flexibility within their role.
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in bookkeeping / accounts will be a great advantage .
  • Experience of accounting software also an advantage.
  • Own transport is helpful due to the company location

Duties of the accounts administrator will include:

  • Administration work on Excel and Word using templated documents
  • General accounts duties including bank reconciliation and assistance with year end, preparing and sending invoices and credit notes and chasing outstanding debts and invoices.
  • Processing of order confirmations
  • Producing rental quotes
  • Answering incoming calls to the office
  • Opening of post
  • Assisting with marketing tasks
  • Assisting the office manager with projects.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors and providing refreshments
  • Receptive to taking on new duties and responsibilities as the role evolves.
