 Customer Service Advisor / Customer Service Assistant

Based in Thame, these roles are permanent and carry a salary of £17,500 - £18,500 a year plus benefits and parking is available

We are looking for confident customer service candidates who are looking for a new challenge within Customer Service and who would enjoy working for an automotive client. Any experience of working in the automotive trade eg garage, showroom, repair centre, customer service role, is helpful but by no means essential.

Our client based in Thame, is inviting candidates to join them for an open morning for 2 hours at their offices in Thame. The session will last from 10AM TO 12PM and you will be involved with all sorts of fun team building activities whilst learning lots about the company and the role.

Another open morning will be held next week, so if you can't make Friday 17th May, apply to Julia Barrington at Recruitment Solutions Thame to be included for the next one.

Candidates who cannot attend either of the open mornings will still be able to apply for the customer service roles

Your role as a customer service advisor:

You will provide an exceptional customer experience, through responding to enquiries via a variety of communication channels, by phone, email, social media and online chats. You will deal with general customer queries and you will also handle some complaints. So you must be confident, professional and have the ability to multi-task.

Your customer service duties:

  • To professionally handle telephone calls; email; written communication and any other communication channels as agreed with your Team Manager.
  • To carry out administrative duties as directed by your Team Manager.
  • As a matter of course to have good time keeping and to act in a professional manner at all times.
  • To be an ambassador for the company and to act as a role model to other team members.

Requirements:

  • Call handling/some office experience is ideal
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Have a strong team work ethic
  • Confident telephone manner, including good verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to deal calmly and professionally with challenging calls

37.5 hours a week to be worked Monday- Saturday on a rota basis.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 7.00pm (So for example you may be working - 8:30am to 5pm or 11am to 7pm)
to include some Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm (with time off in the week)
